. I take 9oomg. 3times daily. It helps but doesn't last long. Cry at night from pain. They still don't know what is wrong. I am looking for people to talk to who are strong and understand this kind of pain. Please talk to me.
Have you had a neck injury? Has anyone suggested an MRI of your neck and spine? Alot of cervical disc problems can cause radiating pain down to arms and hands. Do you only have pain at night that wakes you up? You could also have an ulnar nerve entrapment. Your ulnar nerve (funny bone) gets trapped in a groove in your elbow, especially when you sleep, and you wake up with pain and tingling in (typically) your last 3 fingers. Good luck. L
I understand your pain and frustration. I'm going through the same thing only for me it's lyrica I can take. They have finally uncovered some health issues that I've known for 3 years that I've had them. I have been telling them I had autoimmune disease on top of my fibromyalgia and after 3 years I finally got a pcp that listens to me. Now I have developed terrible pain and numbness plus tingling in my hands and arms. Even simply petting my cats or doing something on my phone such as typing this message causes lots of pain. It was just in the pinky side and thumbs and then encompassed my whole hand (both left and right) then spread down the center of my forearm to my elbows and then finally has moved to my shoulders. I have been told possible carpal tunnel, pinched nerve in my neck, pinched nerve in my spine, possibly MS, and possibly polymyoitis. I do know for sure I have polymyoitis. But that doesn't mean it's the cause of my pain.
If it is then the prednisone I started today should help soon. I hope. I can be your friend and sounding board if you want.
