Next shot March 18 and i have missed it just had sex 3 days ago how posibol is it that I could be pregnant
The manufacturer states that you are not covered against pregnancy once you've missed the 13 wk deadline. They don't provide statistics as to how likely pregnancy is after that time. They just say you are not covered.
I'd therefore suggest emergency contraception if you do not want to risk pregnancy. This means either the emergency contraception pill (Plan b if within 72 hrs of the unprotected sex or EllaOne if over 72 hrs/3 days but less than 120 hrs/5 days). If you have a BMI of over 26 then you should always ask for the EllaOne pillike & not Plan B.
The other option is to have a coil/IUD fitted by a doctor. That can be emergency contraception if inserted up to 120hrs/5 days after unprotected sex.
Some women conceive v quickly after missing their shot, but others find it can take several years. Everyone is different.
