My docotor told me to start on SUnday but after some research i found people saying you need to start when you begin your period.Does it matter when you start the pill?
No, not really.
If you start on the first day of your period (day-1) you will have immediate contraceptive cover.
If you start on the first Sunday after your period began, or at any other time, you will need to wait for 7 days until you have full contraceptive cover.
The advantage of a Sunday start is that your period is likely to fall during the week and be over by the weekend!
