Eyebrow loss occurring at the lateral one-third of the eyebrows is known as "Hertoghe's sign" or "Queen Anne's sign". It is sometimes seen in individuals with hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormones)
Eyebrows do not usually regrow even with normalization of thyroid status.
