I am prone to staph infections and also have MRSA. Every few months I will get these pimple looking things on my right hand, always in the same place. The area around it is very warm to the touch. I just developed it again a few hours ago. It always goes away on it's own after about 5 days. Right before I get it, the area on my hand starts itching like crazy so I know it is coming. I never have thought to ask my doc as it always just goes away. Everytime I get a bad staph infection it has always been in the hospital after a surgery and that is how I got MRSA. Just curious if this is also a staph infection. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Is this Staph infection?

I also wash my body in Hibiclens once a week per my doctor's instructions to keep the bacteria low
Hey there girl. I've had the same thing happen on my arm. The same arm, yet I've never had a Staph infection. I don't know, but someone might. Hopefully it is nothing else bad. You have enough to deal with. That's for sure. Hope it's nothing but something simple. Much love, Ruthie OH, have an awesome weekend. Or try to hon.
It sounds very much like it could be. If the same area keeps reoccurring, there may be a pocket of infection in there that may eventually need to be drained, cleaned out and you may need another course of antibiotics. I would get to your Dr and have him take a look while it is inflamed so he can see if that is truly what it is.
Listen Hun: GO TO YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY! I've had MRSA over 6x & have had surgery 4 it 4x. 3x it popped up on my FACE! Get this checked out IMMEDIATELY PLEASE! I also wash w/Hibicleans... doesn't completely prevent MRSA. PLEASE GET BACK TO ME ASAP BABE! Lemme know how ur doing & if u have ANY? ?'S @ ALL... UNFORTUNATELY. IM AN EXPERT ON THIS. I HAVE THE SCARS TO PROVE IT, IF U'D LIKE TO SEE. THIS IS REALLY SERIOUS.
