My husband uses this for severe migraine and has for several years. I check each bottle when I get home with it and verify that the bottle has liquid. I store medicine in a dark and cool pantry and yet it seems to evaporate. My husband is paralyzed and cannot get to the meds and we are the only ones with access. Any one else experience same or have any ideas.
larryj; I am just going to paste the storage of STADOL and you think about how warm this room gets.
((( Proper storage of Stadol solution:
Store Stadol solution at room temperature, between 59 and 77 degrees F (15 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Stadol solution out of the reach of children and away from pets.
If you have any questions about Stadol solution, please talk with your doctor, pharmacist, or another healthcare provider.
Stadol solution is to be used only by the patient for whom it is prescribed. Do not share it with other people.
If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
Check with your pharmacist about how to dispose of unused medicine.))) ********** Mslarry; I have to just say this is a mystery to me and I have dispensed a lot of Stadol in my year. But what I would suggest that you let the Pharmacist know about this and see if he or she has any suggestions and also let the doctor know what is happening. They watch this medication very closely due to the abuse but I can't find or have ever heard of the medication just evaporate on anyone. Do you notice this when you have not used it yet? or is it when you go to get it and it's lower for the next use. Another thing you could do is google the company name and dial there 800 # and ask for a nurse or Pharmacist at the company if they have heard of this happing. You sure don't want the doctor or your Insurance company to think your using more than you should be. I really wish I could be of more help, And anyway, I know you must be very busy and it's not easy the job you have may god bless you and your dear husband. You have more problems than to worry about this. lol If I do hear something I well let you now and if you do I would love to hear what their answer is. Best wishes and you must be a great person. I wish you and your husband all the best. Chuck1957
