It was the 2 days before I started my period and I started but it wasn't a normal period, it was heavy then super light. Was that because it was the first month of being on the pill? I'm suppose to start my period in 9 days. I'm really paranoid because I'm only 16

Kaismama is correct. If you are taking your pills correctly then you have a 1-2% chance for pregnancy. Oral contraceptives prevent ovulation. No egg means no baby! They (oral contraceptives) also thin the lining that builds in the uterus each month so most women find that their periods on the Pill are much lighter than normal. In your first few months, your periods can be a little irregular. In a few months, as your body becomes accustomed, it will regulate out and come during the week of inactive pills (4ht week).
