I feel like I know what it is but I will like more of an understanding between spotting and your actual period being on
Spotting is just light off and on bleeding. You may only notice blood when you wipe but none on a pad. You may only notice very light "spotty" irregular bleeding on a pad but it doesnt saturate the pad. Regular period is continual bleeding. You may even see it coming from you when you are on the toilet (usually when it is heavy) and you would not be able to get by without a pad, tampon or some form of clothes protection. It may saturate part of the pad. It may not saturate the whole pad but it usually soaks all the way down in the center of the pad. Hope this helps some.
