My genitals sweat. The skin is irritated by the sweat. I do not know how to dry the skin so that it can heal.
You are probably getting an overgrowth of fungus in the area. This is very common as the fungal organisms LOVE moist warm areas! What you need is an antifungal cream or powder. After your shower, dry the area by patting with a towel, you can even use a warm/cool blow dryer to the area to help it dry. If the skin has a spotty (especially towards the margins or edges of the rash) or red, shiny rash, and sometimes even peeling, it is pretty likely that is from a skin fungus (jock itch) The area may itch or burn especially when sweaty. After drying the area you can apply a little antifungal cream like Lotrimen. You can get it over the counter, usually in the section where they sell shoe inserts and athletes foot treatments (athletes foot is a fungus too). Just apply a very thin layer to the affected skin. I find that adding a little hydrocortisone cream helps heal it faster. I mix the two creams 50/50 and apply to the area. You can also use a little baby powder or cornstarch powder to this area to help keep it dry. They used to have a powder called Caldescene. It was excellent for this kind of thing. I used it on my kids when they were little boys. It is sold usually near the diaper rash treatments. It used to be in a pink canister with blue writing. If you can find it, it works great to keep the genital area dry and helps to keep fungi from overgrowth. Hope this helps.
