Can spironolactone raise blood sugar?

Hello leo1608,

No, but it can raise your potassium levels (hyperkalemia).

Signs of hyperkalemia:
Abnormal sensations, such as burning, tingling, or pricking
Muscle weakness
Low heart rate (bradycardia).

Your Dr. must monitor your levels of potassium with regular blood tests.
