I have spina bifida and am planning to get pregnant. I am in the process of changing meds. My dr said i can only take category b and c drugs. IDE prefer category b but my options are slim for treating my neurogenic bladder. Has anyone been on enablex, ditropan, or any other type of antispasmodic or anticholinergic drug that was a category c while pregnant? Any other info u have on meds for neurogenic bladder while pregnant is greatly appreciated.
Good luck on your decision to do the baby thing. This is what I would do if I were you. If you have an OB doc, talk to him/her. They know babies and I consider their opinion as Gospel. If not, call your local hospital and talk to the OB nurses. The pharmacists are going to spew forth all of the information you have already researched.
That's the best advice I can give you after having 2 high risk babies myself.
Happy baby and best of health.
