My son was recently prescribed methotrexate by his rheumatologist. He is a type 1 diabetic and cannot take prednisone. His diagnosis is Stage 2 Sarcoidosis. Based on the reviews I've read on the methotrexate I'm concerned about the side effects of the medication. Would Remicade be a better solution?
I Had Sarcoid For 14 Years And I Took Prednisone For 7 Years And Methotrexate For 6 Months And Got Off That Immediately Methotrexate Is For People Dealing With Cancer So I Been Off Prednisones For About 3 Years So My Doctor Told Me I Have To Take Something My Sarcoid Was Acting Up So Now Iam Using The "SMART VEST" Its Amazing Only Had It For About 45 Days Anyone Dealing With Pulmonary Conditions I Highly Recommend The SMART VEST The Company Accepts All Insurances... You Can Also Google The SMART VEST No Medicine Just A Vest... Hopefully This Information Was Helpful... Blessing
