... tremors to the point of difficulty keeping a steady gait. I would like to try just CBD oil alone or along with Lamictal until what time he could be weaned off the Rx. Does anyone have any experience with this?
My daughter has very severe epilepsy. Two surgeries and a wide variety of traditional medications still left her with about 250 various seizures per months. Lamictal was one med that we had tried but it did not help her. We added CBD oil last spring. This reduced her seizures by over 100 per month. We tried to cut back traditional meds. (cocktail of 3 different anti seizure meds) Unfortunately for her the larger seizures once again increased. We seem to have plateaued at 1 gm CBD oil along with her prescription meds. However this reduction by over 100 seizures per month has been worth it with the oil. We did not see any negative effects from the CBD oil. Go slowly adding CBD oil and if it appears to work, go slowly at trying to reduce the lamictal. CBD oil is great but it does not give everyone complete control just like traditional meds don't. Best wishes.
