You can always call your pharmacist too and they will answer any questions. That's what I do because waiting for your doctor's office to call you back doesn't even always happen, but a pharmacy will let you hold to ask the pharmacist a question anytime. I would think that you would not want him to take another dose, and consider that 2nd dose his daily dose since it was taken 8 hours later. But, like I said I would check with your pharmacist to be sure. Hope this helps :)
