I have been taking the Testosterone Cypionate Injections for two years. prior to that I took Androgel, which is very expensive, until my insurance wouldn't pay for it. Now next year my insurance classified the shots from tier one to tier 4! But, I noticed they had Testosterone td classified as tier 2, and said it was a generic for Androgel.
Branded generics exist for some (fortesta and Testim) but the price drops won't happen until there are a few generics. In the meantime I'd suggest finding what the plan covered and use the best manufacturer copay card (see their websites).
