... black out and cant rember anything. i am on 75 mg of zoloft 1 time a day and 1 mg of clonazepam 2 times a day with no luck does anybody have any other treatments that have worked for them thanks
I also have severe anxiety from PTSD and major depressive disorder. I had those type of attacks of panic they are very scarey especially when you can't remember anything. I have had excellent luck with Ativan 2mg at bedtime and 40mg of Paxil in the morning. I can't guarantee anything but it sounds like you have nothing to lose. It does take up to four weeks to really feel a difference though so you would have to be patient. I thought Zoloft was useless. You can try it if it's o.k. with the doctor who gives you your meds. Let me know how it works for you hope it does for your sake, I know where your at in this I've been there. Do you have any support system if not you should realy find one soon. It always helps when someone can understand I know I do so hang in there you will make it through this one day at a time, o.k..
I have had social anxiety for 10 years. The only things that will work for me is Xanax. Prozac and things like that are for depression. I would try new dr if he won't give you Xanax or Valiums. Try a dr that is general &Internal medicine. That is the kind of Dr I see... ps clonazepan.will not work on bad anxiety.try valiums first and the xanax. But i say go for the xanax thay make all different mg
1 mg of clonazapam is very little for panic attacks. I would ask your doctor to up the dosage to at least 5 mg 2@day. That's what I take and it works very well . Zoloft takes most patients at least 2 weeks to stabilize your mood , and in the mean time can cause nervousness . Just like Prozac. So depending on your situation you can ride it out on the Zoloft till it works or up the dosage on the clonazapam. Hope this helps! Good luck;)
