So far, I believe it to be a .25 mg of Xanax but I need to make sure. Thank you very much.
I have a small white pill w/an R on the front & a | on the back. What is it?
Added 21 Mar 2014:
I don't have any more detailed lettering. It's just a very small white pill with an R on the front and what seems to be a cutting line (?) on the back. I can't say for sure if it is a line meant for cutting the pill in half, especially since it is such a small tablet. Since it has an R on it, is there any chance it could be a Ritalin? I've had this tablet in my drawer for about 3 years. I don't know if that makes a difference.
Thank you for all the help you can give me. I'm very appreciative.

Best of luck,
If the pill is been in a drawer for three years, it is no longer any good! Light and air break down medications and even when kept in a dark bottle, they are only good for one year after purchase. Since you dont know what it is, you need to just throw it away. It isnt any good anymore.
