I have been searching google and couldn't find anything, I was wondering if sleeping on your left side on your cheek for too long can cause pain? I slept really hard last night and woke up today with a tender bruised type of feeling on my left side of my face. It's not my teeth or a headache just where I laid my head down. Can sleeping really hard or in the same position for too long cause that type of pain? Ibuprofen and tylenol are not helping and I wanted to make sure it is nothing to serious. Just a case of really good sleep lol.

I think you should get it checked out, sleeping on your cheek shouldn't do that.
You may have bruised yourself but if the tenderness doesn't go away in a couple of days I would see a doctor and have them check it out.
