I'm on birth control. I forgot to take my pill and had unprotected sex (he withdrew before finishing, but there's still risk). The pill I was supposed to take was the last pill before I was supposed to start taking the dummy pills and have my period. I took Plan B just in case. The pharmacist said I should take the dummy pills and should have my period. I will be starting the 5th day of my dummy pills and still no bleeding. Should I be concerned and take a pregnancy test before I start my regular pills in 3 days?
The pharmacist was wrong. Plan B screws up your cycle something awful. All those hormones added to the ones you've already got from the bc pills will efffect you. You probably didn't need the plan B at all. Just start your next pack when its due, and don't worry about it. I don't know why you girls think plan b is the wonder drug, it has a 20% failure rate. Even forgetting that last pill, you had a 2-3 % failure rate, with only the bc pill. Plan B isn't as effective as the bcpill. Your pharmacist should have known this. Please don't take it again without asking us if its necessary.
