Hello- I am interested in acquiring a diaphragm for birth control and I was sized for your all flex which is now discontinue. I would like to know if the sizing for the all flex is compatible with your new silicone diaphragm. My provider only has the all flex fitting set, and my clinic tells me that they don't know if they will invest in getting a fitting set for the new silicone diaphragm and they know of any other providers who have them either. Thank you for your response.
Drugs.com is an information only site about all drugs. It is not affiliated with any manufacturer. To find the answer to your question, you need to contact the manufacturer of the diaphragm. This would be Ortho McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals. From what I have been able to find, it looks to be the same thing as an All Flex but made from silicone rather than Latex (it is still called All Flex but All Flex Silicone diaphragm rather than All Flex Latex diaphragm) so I would imagine the fitting would be the same however, to be sure, you need to contact the manufacturer. It is unfortunate that the diaphragm is just not widely used anymore. Most women prefer other methods but it is such a good method for women who dont want hormones or cannot tolerate them.
Here is the listed number for Ortho: Phone: (800) 526-7736.
