It depends on your symptoms but usually an antihistamine or combination antihistamine/decongestant is best. You can ask your local pharmacist to help you wade through all the options available to find the best one to cover your symptoms. I like Zyrtec, Zyrtec D, Claritin or Claritin D best, personally, but you may need to try a few before you decide what works best for you. Some people find that prescription steroid nasal sprays work best but you have to get that from your Dr. if the OTC tablets dont work or cause side effects that are unpleasant (like drowsiness).
