The side effects are: hallucinations; mental or mood changes (eg, agitation, anxiety, depression, irritability, persistent crying, unusual sadness); new or worsening behavior changes (eg, aggression, hostility, restlessness); seizure; severe or persistent headache or dizziness; suicidal thoughts or attempts; besides some other effects.
You need to talk to the doc ASAP, surely he could be of help in suggesting an alternate medication.
The dosage depends upon various factors, & is ascertained by the doc, such as:
Strattera (atomoxetine hydrochloride): the age; the weight; Other medical conditions that may be present; Other medications that are being taken.
Please, do not adjust the Strattera dosage unless the healthcare provider specifically instructs to do so.
Hope that your son gets well soon, God bless him!
