My mother and I both have panic disorder (yay genetics). About 10 years ago I was prescribed Lexapro and within 3-4 days I was ten times worse and stopped taking them. Eventually I got better for a few years, but recently my panic cycle has come back. I mentioned to my doctor the problem I had with Lexapro so she gave me Zoloft, which I haven't taken yet for the fear that I'm going to get worse with the initial side effects. I mentioned this problem with my mother and she said she had the same effects with Lexapro and Zoloft, but not with Celexa. I was wondering if I should go back to my doctor and ask for Celexa.
