Hello adepascal,

Face waxing services are an easy and efficient way to manage facial hair. Before face waxing or removal of unwanted hair from your face, you need to know the potential side effects and how your skin may be affected. Side effects are common and your skin is unique, therefore understanding how your skin may react is important. To avoid possible side effects that can happen from an inexperienced technician, it is recommended that you go to a professional esthetician.

1.Medication Interactions
Medications can interfere with face waxing and cause unwanted side effects. For example, antibiotics can cause your skin to be ultra-sensitive and lead to severe redness following waxing. Accutane users should not be waxed. Accutane leaves the skin extremely thin, photosensitive and more reactive. You must disclose any medications you are currently taking to avoid side effects associated with face waxing.

lol... I do this once in a while too, usually to my eyebrows, but besides the obvious pain that you cn have with it, you can get some redness of the skin , but it ususally goes away in an hour or two. If you would have redness that doesn't go away within 24 hours or if you get blisters like your skin is burned then you need to see the doctor, it could be that the wax was too hot for you, but most places keep their wax at a temp that won't hurt you unless you have extra sensitive skin! Happy waxing!! :)) free discount card
