... I'm still waiting for it to work (hope it does). The main cause is my TMJ problem and because of that, I've been having constant headaches. Tramadol used to kill around 30% of the pain. I know I'm not supposed to mix both Tramadol and Cymbalta together, but I am in agonizing pain and wondering if 50mg of Tramadol will do any harm. Thanks
Please do not mix the Tramadol with any antidepressant, unless your doc gives you the OK. Antidepressants need time to build up in ones system, it may take 3 to 4 weeks for it to work for the headaches and TMJ disorder, yet once it does take effect, you may be pleasantly surprised. If pain is untolerable, call your doc, ask about Tramadol, also ask about a Benzodiazapine such as Ativan or Valium, if used for a short time (as they are addictive) can be very effective in treating TMJ disorder... I know, I've got it, and 'tis not fun!!!
Do you have a mouth guard, or should I say, a hockey puck to wear at night when you sleep? I refuse to go to bed with that thing in me gob!! But thye can do wonders I hear.
Best wishes to you,
I can't safe its safe for sure I understand what the horror of Chronic pain is Cymbalta usually takes some time to work, I think it builds up in your system what you might considering doing is contact your doctor and just explain how severe the pain is, I know some of these doctors shy away but it is your body and you have the right to inform him of the situation I hope I have at least encouraged you take care
