I have taken a Fluoxetine 90 time release pill for the first time. My heart is not racing but it is beating very hard. I cannot take anxiety meds that I have along with it due to an interaction warning. What can I do to stop this?
Is it still beating hard? Several things you can do Press in at the spot right below your earlobe, if that does not stop try pushing hard like you were going to have a bowel movement. EMTs had my hubby do that when his heartrate went to 180. If neither of those help get a cold cloth put on chest and do dep breaths. If none of these work call your doctor. I could not take that drug because of this. My heart would race and that would cause anxiety. Good luck!
