Orthopedic doctor perscribed Diclofenac for relief from pain from arthritis in my knee. I took one 75 mg tablet of Diclofenac with no pain relief. Will taking one twice a day as perscribes eventually give pain relief? I'm male, 63, and have never been overweight.
I can only tell you my experience. Sometimes when my pain is a 10+ meaning it is already out of control it does take a while to get it back in check. So, it is possible that could be what happened in your case. If you have only taken one dosage, then maybe wait and see after your second dose what happens. You can always make a call to your doctor. I know it is the weekend, but someone should be on call. God Bless kimmie1
Diclofenac works for some but personally not for me at all. chronic back pain for 4 years i have tried all different methods of pain relief, and in my opinion diclofenac was the least helpful. the nausea i experienced stopped me from continuing them for more than a week, in which there was no relief from pain.
