I have had the Mirena IUD in for a month now. I just got my period and now I can feel the strings poking me every once and a while. When trying to feel, I can feel them but can't seem to feel anything else... should I be concerned? Should I make an appointment with my doctor?
I just got mine. But my strings are poking me too, all the time. I can feel them when I pee, when I wipe, and sometimes I am just sitting the wrong way and I feel the poke.
I am hoping when I go in for the one month post appointment, she can trim them because there is no way I can deal with what feels like a needle in my underwear 24/7.

I've had my Mirena IUD put in 4 days ago. The first 2 days I could feel the strings. Now I'm unable?
