When I breath I feel like I'm holding my breath even though I'm breathing in and out. Like I'm not getting enough oxygen.
I feel like this a lot, personally, and I was diagnosed with advanced asthma and the beginnings of COPD. If you feel this sensation frequently or constantly then you could have a lung or heart problem. Anxiety can also cause this kind of feeling, but I'd suggest going to a doctor because you can never be too careful. It's been a while since you posted your question so I hope that you've been doing alright since then. Maybe try getting a pulse oxymeter from a pharmacy or drugstore and monitor your oxygen saturation levels to show to a doctor. If your oxygen level drops, if your lips or fingertips turn blueish or dark, or if you feel very faint (or fully lose consciousness) then please go to the ER. I hope this helps, and I hope that you've been feeling better.
