On behalf of a friend taking x 4 160mg tablets pr day been told there is a shelf life on these of 30 days and finding it hard to sort out the prescription. Also more importantly are the tablets losing their life form the moment they are bottled hence friend is therefore taking a tablet potentially that is having no effect and thus bringing levels down???

We are urgent for an answer to this question as not only are we finding it hard to get hold of the script but are concerned that the shelf life of the drugs could be having a negative effect on my friend???
Thankyou very Much
I have been taking 2 tablets a day (267mg total) of magnesium oxide I ordered from Puritan's Pride. I received my order in the mail 2-3 weeks ago and the expiration on the bottle is Sept. 2012. I also believe any kind of pills should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Hope this helps.
