I'm having really bad pain in my abdominal area and lower back. I thought it was period cramps at first, but it only hurts if I'm standing or walking. It doesn't hurt at all when I am sitting or lying down. Pain medication has done nothing to help it so far. I've also been having what feels like pre period cramps for two weeks now and just about two-three days ago, I started spotting, but haven't actually started my period yet. I wonder if that could have something to do with my pains I'm having. I'm also on birth control to regulate my periods. This is sort of all over the place but could someone please help me figure this out.

I can't remember if this is what it was, but I was diagnosed, I think, with polycystic ovary syndrome. This could possibly be causing problems as well.
AndyG19; Yes it could very well be the old problem if they did nothing at that time But the only one that is really going to be able to help you is the doctor and with all the symptoms you are having please get in to see your doctor as soon as you can. Pain in itself is not normal or bleeding afterward so it sounds like you really need to be seen. We are unable to give medical advice here but we know when you should see the doctor please make an appointment today.
