I get the shakes real bad around 3pm-4pm. I know it has to do with the amount of alcohol I consume. Is there some sort of pill that I can get to stop the shakes. I know the easy remedy would be to stop drinking, I don't think I can just stop all together?
Hello zakattack05. There are medications, that will relax you. Having said that, the remedy is either to stop your drinking, or at least cut back, space your drinking times further and further apart. There are also drugds/medications, antabuse for one that when taken, will work as a deterent. In other words, you would take the pill, and if you were to drink any alcohol, you'd become violently ill. I'd suggest you take the time, phone your gp (general practioner), sit down and work out whats best for you. There are organazations, that if you were willing, are out there, to help yourself and others suffering from alcohol dependance. the very best to you.
