For my entire life I've battled with severe leg pain, but it has gotten progressively worse over time. Now that I'm 19 years of age it's so bad some days I can barely walk or get out of bed without my fiancee's help. A good description of what it feels like can be achy, sharp pains, a lot of the time it feels like my muscles are spasming, burning, or a mixture of all of those. My mother has fibromyalgia and CRPS and thinks I have Fibromyalgia. My recent trip to urgent care thinks I have neuropathy even though I do not have diabetes. My doctor isn't even treating me for the pain and has only put me on tramadol and Gabapentin without testing me for anything. So what do you guys think I could have? So I know what I need to ask my doctor to look for.
My fibromyalgia started that way. I was so young I can't remember a time my legs didn't hurt. I found that extended release tramadol worked better for me. See a rheumatologist for a diagnosis. How much gabapentin are you on? He needs to check for the tender points. If you google it you can find charts of where they are. Print it out and take it to him just in case he doesn't know. 19 yr olds don't get neuropathy without having a back injury or diabetes.
