I have gran-mal seizures, and am told that i'll go 5 to 6 minutes not breathing, and my face turns a purple color,my BP will shoot way up, enough to shake the paramedics up a bit. But later as i'm regaining my thoughts and ask for something to help me with the unbearable headache and to sleep, well it's not the easiest thing in the world to get. How can I prove to them, i'm not wanting it for the wrong reasons?
Your seizures sound like every one I"ve ever seen, and many have severe headaches afterware. Why in the world won't they give you something for the headache? I don't mean a narcotic, because that adds to the sedation and you don't want that after a seizure. The normal reaction to seizure is to go to sleep, so that is why they won't give you anything more.
