Okay, so I'm 23 years old, no children, have serious lower back problems. They gave me the mirena cause they said that I have a severe case of systs and they suspected that I might have endometriosis. I had my OP exaclty 3 weeks ago, good news is that I didn't have endo, but the removed the systs and gave me the mirena. The first week was a breeze, but since the second week I have had really excrusiating cramps, my back hurts so bad and I haven't stoped bleeding for 1 day (sorry tmi) so I went for my post op check up and everything was fine, mirena still in place, some new systs though. Any one else experiencing this? The pain is really so bad, I can't seem to go through a normal day?
There is no such thing as tmi if you want an answer instead of a guess. I appreciate someone who described the problem, not assumes we can guess what it is. Have you told your dr how bad it is? Some women just can't use mirena. There are other hormonal birth control methods that might be better for you.
