Hi! You came to the right place! I'm new here but there is so much support! I too have agoraphobia and struggle to leave my home. I've tried many many medications over the past five years and have yet to find one that eases the panic in me other than lorazepam/Ativan. I'm now addicted and detoxing but I wouldn't change a thing. My best help has been to find support like on here or through reading. It just helps to me to know that I'm not alone. Also taking baby steps and breaking out of the comfort zone a bit each day really dose retrain your brain! Try to meditate too. Sounds silly coming out of my mouth since I'm new at it but clearing the racing thoughts really does help! Best of luck to you. Keep asking and talking about it. There are so many people just like you and even many that have overcome this nightmare!
As you are undoubtedly aware, the Xanax/Hydrocodone combination will take you down the wrong path that will ultimately lead to destruction. How often do you self medicate with the combination and how much each time. Depending on the time period and the amount of usage you will, likely, not be able to get off these two drugs without help such as detox and rehab. Both are tremendously addictive drugs. Have you tried any anti-depressant medication to combat the anxiety and panic attacks? If so, what and how much and at what time period. Hope this helps a bit so far. There are some good drugs out there to help with your problem that are non habit forming.
