I also take a benzo, I am not feeling depressed or tired but the nervousness is off the charts. Anyone have this as a side and how long does it last? Im afraid I wont be able to function at work
AvalonX; I AM SO SORRY THAT THE DOCTOR DID NOT TELL YOU HOW THESE MEDICATIONS WORK IN MOST PEOPLE. Yes, when you first start the Zoloft for normally the first 2 weeks the things it is supposed to help you with like anxiety, etc get worse for that short time then slowly it gets much better for you. ALSO, YOU CONTINUE TO TAKE IT ABOUT THE SAME TIME EACH DAY AND BETWEEN 3 AND 4 WEEKS YOU SHOULD CONTINUE TO IMPROVE AND THE REAL DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN WEEK 6 AND 8 THAT IS WHEN YOU REACH THE BLOOD LEVEL AND YOU WELL FEEL PRETTY GOOD BY THEN IF THIS IS THE MEDICATION FOR YOU. but they really should tell the patients about this more. It is a huge shock and also by the way some people get much faster results with this I am giving you the basics at the worst part of the relief. Any other questions on this feel free to type another post and we or I well be more than happy to try and help you out. Also if the anxiety gets to much call or go see your doctor sometimes they well give you something to offset the anxiety and stress while this is getting in your system. Enjoy your day and I hope this does make enough sense to you.
