The new dr took me off seroxat because he said they were the worst tabs so he immediately put me on sertraline without any break. I have been on sertraline now since july 2015 increasing gradually from 50mg to 200mg at the begining of november 2015. They have failed again. My dr insists i stay on them and go to cbt. I am happy to this and i am on the list which is quite long. I am worse now than july 2015.
There appears to be no reason to be on an antidepressant that is not working. You should be feeling better by now since you have been on the 200 mg for over 4 months. You may want to explain to your doctor you have given it plenty of time and that you are getting worst. Zoloft may not be the one that works for you.You have the right to request a med change. You have to be your own advocate. Many of us have had to try several meds before finding one that works. Do not give up.
Hoping you feel better soon :)
