Hi, Hi! The weight gain is unavoidable, but you might have been advised to switch to a med with less potential for causing weight gain.
My doctor scripts blood work at least every 6mos, but I also have blood work done when I go to my GP for my annual physical exam.
Your doctor was remiss in not monitoring you more closely if she never ordered blood work.
