Hello rsgoble. It varies from person to person. Why you are taking it, often with other medications, a variety of reasons. I was on it for several years. 300mg. At the time I only stopped it because of insurance cost factors. I know a friend of mine has been on it for almost eight years. We spoke not long ago and hes doing fine, still happy with taking it. If I were offered it tomorrow at a cost that deem to be reasonable, I'd be on it in no time again. I'm on Remeron now which replaced it and its very similiar, but much less expensive than the seroquel. Wishing you the very best, if you decide to take it or are taking it, I hope that it is helping you.
