I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 6 years ago, and still have symptoms and my primary care physician has not been able to find the right dose of Synthroid for me. I am getting fed up and am finally seeing an endocrinologist. Has anybody been to an endocrinologist for their hypothyroidism, and did they try a different approach?
Very important as you will learn about the disease and be clear of options. They also watch you closer and look for any other problems you may develop. Preventing is always easier. Your Endo will be with you for the rest of your life so pick someone you like. Good health to you!
