Last month I got my period no problem the last week of the pack this month I missed on day took two the next day me and my bf have sex but the first two mins we don't use condoms then the end we do , I'm on my 3rd day on the last pack and still no period I'm 17 and going to college please help!
You've got the rest of the pack before you even think of worrying. You aren't always going to get your period on the 3rd day. You have the rest of the week. Also the pills can lessen the uterine lining, which gives you less to "bleed" and can mean you'll skip a period altogether. The chances of you being pregnant are pretty slim.
If you have been taking your pills perfectly, you have a less than 1% chance of pregnancy. If you have been taking it on average, maybe late a few times or an occasional miss, it can still be 90% or better effective (each miss, especially more than one day in a row or several misses in one month will decrease the effectiveness so taking it on time, daily, is VERY important to get maximum protection). Your period can come ANY time during the week of inactive pills. Most commonly day 3 to day 5 but any time is okay, even the last day-you just start your new pack as scheduled. On occasion, you may get a very light bleed, light spotting or none at all, however, if you miss two periods in a row, you should see your Dr to rule out pregnancy or any other problem. When using birth control pills, you do NOT need condoms for birth control (contraception) they are only necessary if you are worried about STDs (having multiple partners or casual sex). If you are having sex with one guy and he is having sex with you only and you know you are both STD free, then condoms arent necessary to prevent pregnancy. It is kind of silly to penetrate then put one on before ejaculation. Men leak thousands of sperm long before they ejaculate so this practice is offering you exactly zip for "extra" protection. You either need to use one all throughout intercourse or not use one at all! More than likely your period will show up in a day or two. It may not be the same every month.
