can I get these shot and what can I do to relieve some of the pain between the shots.
I have a friend who just asked her doctor this question last week and he said 3. I've had sciatica on both sides for many years now. I see a pain specialist for Rhizotemy's, also sometimes called Radial Frequency Ablation Procedures. These are done in procedure rooms (surgical) under light sedation, usually performed by pain specialists. They use large needles and electricity to burn the nerves that are causing the pain. I get relief from 3-24 months, then the nerves regenerate and I have the procedure done again. The pain relief is fantastic! Not all pain specialists do this. Call around and ask if they do. There is a diagnosis phase of 3-6 months, but then when the nerves regenerate within a few months I have the procedure again. I hope you find relief! EJ23
