IT has been 3 months what are the steps to getting this treated . I have no insurance i go to the local clinic ?
Sciatica is a pinched nerve in your spine that runs down your leg. Treatment depends on the severity of the impingement. Without insurance to afford an MRI to determine the severity, your options are limited which range from medicatins such as non steroidal anti inflammatories to physical therapy hopefully with a company that will work with you on price. Has the clinic done x-rays or other tests to determine the cause of the pinched nerve?

Sciatic is definately can be so very painful and I thought I had it for yrs mine was a stenosis but I think on the pain level it is the same.I feel bad that you dont have insurance but maybe if you went like in mass.
we have masshealth and maybe your state can give you some kind of insurance were copay is not alot and meds are included in the insurance.Isnt it a law that we all should get health care If I were you I would definatley look to find out what is available because living with that pain is so aweful at times,First you must find a doctor/insurance as well then when speak to any doctor they can refer you to pain management, physical therapy, epideral shots and medications but you first most def get on the same page with doctor or establish some kind relationship where you see them on a monthly basis.I am not sure of where you live but if you are out of job there should be some kind of insurance somewhere.Check with hospital to see if they have a insurance arraigment and check with your state. But I hear you and I have been there and one would think that it would be easier to find out insurance info.I hope this helps also see if you can get Nuerotin it has helped me with pain and it could help you.All the best to you and I hope you do get better.
