I was told I could not take anti-inflammatory drugs or supplements within 7 days of the orthroscopic surgery. I am within that 7 day window. Is it okay to take Zyrtec D?
From what I have read you can take it before surgery. The only issue is the D (decongestant) may cause an increase in your blood pressure. If you are taking it for a cold, the cold will give them a reason to reschedule the surgery. I take Zyrtec and was allowed to take it before surgery.
