Also, does anyone know if you have to continue to do kegal exercises after vaginal sling surgery for stress incontinence?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
ocean i well do as good as i can i am going from memory from your earier answer but from what i read it depend on how it is done now days it is small incinsions to do the sling surgery and they even do it with a robot type machine and at the begining of the recovery i don't think you do those exercises because they want very little straning after the blatter sling. AND i am just about positive that there would be more recup time with a total hysterectomy and it would be much more Invasive then the tiny cuts they use with the sling surgery
hope this helps Chuck Wise retired pharmacy tech Cpht. best of luck if you have not made up you mind totally call the doctors office and question the doc or his nurse..have a good weekend. chuck.
