... patches in my mouth. I stopped taking it, but I just started again because I was desperate to feel better - and I do! Are the mouth sores just an annoying side affect? Is there any danger?
Hi! Saphris is the only one that's helped me too. Like, oh wow, this is what healthy feels like? helps me!
I struggled with the dry mouth, sores (they scared me!) and (I don't know if you get this) such a dry spot in the back if my throat that it hurt to swallow.
I learned that since saphris raises your risk of having adverse effects due to heat (heat stroke, overheating are things to be careful of), it's absolutely imperative to drink as much as you can. And then more! I have to drink and drink before bed (when I take it), because 1) you're not supposed to eat or drink for 10 (or is it 15?) minutes after taking it, and 2) I'm always crashed out well before the 10 minutes is up, so if I don't drink a lot beforehand, I wake up miserable.
I've *always* had a hard time staying hydrated. It took me ages to figure out what helps me drink enough (a big cup & straw, and LOTS of ice! That's probably related to the raised temperature?) I have to mark down how much I drink, because I forget, and it's when I'm hot and headachy and miserable that I realize I'm dehydrated.
Sorry this is so long, I just wanted to let you know I had the same thing (and they come back if I'm dehydrated). Hope this helps!
