... I have been struggling with anxiety and am breastfeeding my 6 month old and I am not ready to wean him off but don't think I should be taking it. Any advice?
Here below is a link from this site on zoloft and breastfeeding.
I would discuss this question with your dr. I have found that magnesium supplements works well for anxiety. I researched online and found that this mineral is deficient in over 80% of the population. Magnesium can help with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks. Women can take 250 mg daily. You should cut the tablet into and take half in the morning and half at night. Magnesium can relax you and help you sleep. Ask your doctor if he thinks that taking magnesium supplements would be safe while breastfeeding.
