... what side effects could be expected , especially if used long term ?
I ve never heard that condition was related with treating sleep apnoea but about Tegrotol :
Suitable dose for your child is 400-600 mg/day ... (6-10 years old)
Reported side effects, headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, are expected to appear when the drug was started and disappear in a few days.
These side effects are also seen on high doses, so contact with your doctor / pharmacist if they stay more then a few days.
