I'm scheduled to receive my monthly Xolair injection tonight. However, I just was informed by my doctor's office that Curascript, who acts as intermediary between Xolair and my insurance carrier, no longer accepts my health insurance. My question, then, is it safe to suddenly stop receiving my Xolair injections?
Doesn't that just tick you off. No concern for people, just well we aren't going to cover it anymore, too bad if you need it. How bad are your symptoms without it? If you are going to be sick without it, then it would be a concern to just stop it. The first thing to do is talk to your dr about what he thinks you can do. Also go to the site and apply for assistance paying for it. www.xolair.com/financial-support-options.
